Volunteers are essential to every aspect of Porthi Dre's work. If you would like to give some of your time to help improve the lives of people in Caernarfon, please complete the form below or email gwionroberts@porthidre.cymru.
Porthi Dre offers a wide range of volunteering opportunities. You can volunteer with:

Community Kitchen: Help prepare and cook food for our events. (Opportunities available Monday to Thursday.)

Front of House and Cleaning: Welcome and assist people as they arrive, and help keep the building clean and tidy. (Opportunities available Monday to Friday.)

Caban y Cofis: Build and repair furniture for local people, and carry out some general building maintenance. (Opportunities available on Wednesdays and weekends.)

Youth Club: Help with cleaning, serving food, and organising activities and entertainment for young people in Caernarfon. (Opportunities available on Wednesdays.)

Grant Applications and Administration Team: Help identify suitable grant funding opportunities for Porthi Dre and support us in developing and expanding our services. (Opportunities available throughout the week.)

Porthi Dre is looking for passionate and committed individuals to join our Board as Trustees or Board Members. If you believe in supporting our community and want to play a key role in shaping the future of our work, we’d love to hear from you!
As a Board Member or Trustee, you’ll help guide our charity, ensuring we continue to grow and make a lasting impact. No previous experience is needed—just a willingness to contribute your time, skills, and ideas.
