Coed, Celf a Lles brought a series of hands-on workshops to communities across Gwynedd. Delivered bilingually and focused on the use of natural materials, the project offered therapeutic and creative activities through a series of art workshops that combined pyrography with complementary crafts and artforms. The sessions were designed to encourage mindfulness, self-expression, and a deeper connection to nature – all within an accessible and inclusive setting.
Workshops were hosted in various locations in Gwynedd, including Porthi Dre. Activities included mandala creation, inlay, journal making, and whittling alongside pyrography – all of which proved to be enjoyable and relaxing exercises for the participants.
Feedback across all sessions was overwhelmingly positive. Participants frequently commented on how calm, focused, and relaxed they felt during the workshops. Many mentioned how enjoyable it was to learn new techniques, work with natural materials, connect with others, and take home artwork they were proud of.
